The Fairbanks North Star Borough is offering a wood stove change out program to help reduced the amount of PM2.5 pollution. Homeowners can choose to replace their wood stove with a battery backup or generator for up to $6,000. CorWhit is an approved vendor/installer on the FNSB site.

Funding for the Change Out Programs cannot retroactively reimburse for work that was completed prior to receiving the actual funding.  As such, invoices/receipts with dates prior to the initial date of application (and/or receipt of funding source) are NOT eligible for reimbursement.
